Common questions
For our long, humid summers, most homes do well with a 15–18 SEER2 system that also dehumidifies well — raw SEER2 isn’t everything here. We run a Manual-J load calculation and recommend the right size and efficiency for your home and budget, not just the biggest number.
The federal 25C tax credit for air-source heat pumps, AC, and furnaces expired December 31, 2025, and is not currently available. Geothermal heat pumps remain eligible for the federal 30% Residential Clean Energy Credit through 2032. We also help you check current Georgia/utility and manufacturer rebates. These programs change and eligibility varies — we don’t give tax advice, so confirm with a qualified tax professional.
